Quick Reply and Quick Compose for Messages, with an API for developers to integrate it into their apps, such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Voxer, etc. This is a must have, Apple. You put it in Mavericks, now add it to iOS.

A Siri API for the same purpose. Imagine being able to control processes in any app with Siri. Posting to Google+ or being able to Snapchat from Siri would be awesome.

More M7 capabilities. The M7 processor brought quite a lot of potential to the table, and I'd like to see more of it being used. I want my iPhone to know when I've parked and be able to guide me back to my car when I reach the parking lot.

A more powerful Notification Center. Let's be honest, the "Missed" tab is useless. Apple could easily replace that with unified social feeds, email, or really anything besides the few redundant notifications that end up there.

There are quite a few tweaks and adjustments from the jailbreak community that I'd like to see Apple implement as well, but above are a few larger examples. iOS 7 introduced a new direction with a lot of potential. Now it's time to expand on that and make iOS work for its users even more efficiently. iOS 7 focused on visuals. I have a feeling iOS 8 will bring a lot more functionality to iOS devices.

I have seen a decrease of battery life (drain) since the upgrade to 7.0.6 on my iPhone 4S. I wish i didn't upgrade. I hope they will release 7.1 soon and i hope my battery use will be as it was with 7.0.4.
